Board Care
Hand Wash Only: Always wash your wooden cutting boards and coasters by hand using warm water and mild soap. Avoid soaking them or putting them in the dishwasher, as excessive moisture can cause the wood to warp or crack.

Dry Immediately: After washing, thoroughly dry the items with a clean towel. Stand them upright or on their side to air-dry completely, preventing any moisture from being trapped.

Oil Regularly: To maintain the wood's luster and prevent it from drying out, apply food-safe mineral oil or a special wood conditioner every few weeks. Simply rub the oil into the surface, let it sit for a few hours, and then wipe off any excess.

Avoid Extreme Temperatures: Keep wooden products away from direct heat sources, such as stovetops or sunlight, as well as from extreme cold. Extreme temperature changes can cause the wood to crack or split.

Sanitize Gently: For deeper cleaning, sprinkle coarse salt or baking soda on the surface and scrub with a halved lemon. This helps remove stains and odors naturally. Rinse with warm water and dry immediately.

Store Properly: Store cutting boards and coasters in a dry, well-ventilated area. If possible, keep them upright or stacked with spacers to allow air circulation, which helps prevent moisture buildup.

Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive scrubbers on the wood, as they can damage the surface and remove the natural oils that protect it.
